Goodbye, Jonathan!

This is Jonathan. He has been a guest at our house for a little bit. He is a nut, alright! But you have to be a bit crazy to be willing to do what he plans on doing with his life! He has been a student for 3 years at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, studying linguistics. He will be going to countries where there are unreached tribes that nobody knows about, hike around until he finds them, then study their language to see if it is closely related to any other tribal language, or if it is so totally different that somebody needs to go in and live with them to learn the language. He has one more year to go, but is taking this next year off to go travel in South America. Just for fun and adventure. He is a wild man, so I have no doubt he will create enough adventure to satisfy his need for a bit. Oddly, Jonathan is also an extremely gifted pianist. By ear. I love piano. What a treat for me to listen to him play! He left last night to travel to Canada to visit his new-found girlfriend, Leah, who also was a guest here for a couple of weeks. Good luck to you, Jonathan!
