Zwilight Zone

I snapped this macro photo earlier this fall from the top of a post that holds our garden's water spigot.  Barely noticeable, these little fungi caught my attention after looking at a photographic book from the library that had pictures of other fungi that they had done fun things with.  There is also some moss and a few pine needles, none of which I placed there.

Here is a shot from a different angle

....and then with a few color changes:

Nothing extraordinary, yet it is fun for me to mess around with my photos :-)

Shrooms

After the hike to Heybrook Look Out, I am curious now as to the identification of mushrooms. Maybe I will take up yet one more hobby! These are what we saw, though I know none of their names. If you know any of them, please enlightened me!
For me these are called 'Shelf' mushrooms.

I call this one 'The Blob"

'Hard Hat'

"Fried Egg'

I better not say

'China Man's cap'

'Fairy Mushrooms'

These were my favorites. So teensy weensy!
The Smurfs are little blue people who live in magic mushrooms. Think about it.
