Waist High!
My brother-in-law Steve has always said that corn should be knee-high by the 4th of July. I used to plant corn, but it never made that particular standard. I haven't planted it for a number of years, but thought it would be fun for Joy, since we are co-gardening this summer. It still isn't the 4th of July, but it is nearly waist high already! The unprecedented stretch of warm/hot weather we had in May/June really went to town on the garden!
